Retired Marine Given New Future With Bionic Arm After Amputation

The Alfred Mann Foundation has spent many years developing a novel IMES device The implanted sensors enables amputees to control a prosthetic hand which could revolutionize the way wounded soldiers move.  The device is currently in clinical trials at Walter Reed National Medical Military Center in Bethesda. CBS Los Angeles aired information on the trial and interviews with the first Walter Reed Patient.
